WILMINGTON, North Carolina – With the Thanksgiving festivities complete, the UNCW women's basketball team gets back to work on Saturday, Nov. 27, when the Seahawks welcome Radford to Trask Coliseum for a 2 p.m. non-conference contest.
The matinee between the Seahawks and Highlanders can be seen online via FloHoops (subscription required) with

UNCW stands 1-4 on the season after dropping its fourth straight contest with a 53-42 setback at Campbell on Tuesday evening. Graduate student guard
Sierra DaCosta authored her fourth double-digit scoring effort with 16 points, but the Seahawks were unable to overcome a slow start against the Fighting Camels.
DaCosta paces the Seahawks' offense with a 13.6 point per game average and has made 20-of-24 free throws in five games. Senior guard
Carrie Gross follows at 11.8 points per game and has a team-high .579 field goal percentage, which ranks among the Colonial Athletic Association leaders.
Radford, 2-3 on the early season, has won two of its last three games following a commanding 95-39 home victory over Lees-McRae on Thanksgiving Eve. The Highlanders had five players score in double figures, including four players with 14 points apiece.
Sophomore guard
Ashley Tudor is the Highlanders' leading scorer at 11.2 points per game in addition to leading the squad in free throws made (26) and attempted (34). Coach
Mike McGuire's side has seen nine different players start at least one game with junior forward
Rachel LaLonde being the only player to open all five contests.

Lucky Seven – Saturday's game marks the seventh all-time meeting between UNCW and Radford. The Seahawks own a 4-2 series advantage over the Highlanders.

Nikki Newman is very familiar with the Seahawks after spending her college career at CAA rival James Madison. Newman led the Dukes to an 8-1 record over UNCW from 2009-14.
Board Meeting – Sophomore guard
Evan Miller grabbed a career-high eight rebounds on Tuesday night at Campbell, marking the third time a UNCW players has registered eight or more caroms in a game this season.
On the Mark – Senior guard
Carrie Gross, who is 12-for-13 at the foul line this season, has made her last nine free throws after going 2-for-2 on Tuesday at Campbell.
On Second Thought – UNCW outscored Campbell by a 29-18 count after the intermission on Tuesday night, limiting the Fighting Camels to just 6-for-21 shooting from the field.
