Freshmen Make NCAA Zone Debuts

ATHENS, Ga. - Freshmen divers Courtney Klausen and Kolbein Bjugan made their NCAA debuts on Monday at the Zone B Regionals at the Gabrielsen Natatorium.

Kausen, who won the Colonial Athletic Association's 1-meter champion, was not able to advance to Monday's finals for the 1-meter dive after scoring 198.5 points in the preliminaries. She will conclude her regional competition on Tuesday when she competes on the 3-meter board.

Bjugan, the CAA Champion in the 1 and 3-meter boards, scored 240.5 points on the men's 3-meter board, but was unable to advance to the finals.
