WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Holly Springs High School women's basketball standout Jayde Gamble has signed a National Letter of Intent to play at UNCW beginning in the 2021-22 season.

Gamble, a native of Holly Springs, N.C., has been a three-time First-Team All-Conference selection for the Golden Hawks. The 5-6 guard has tallied 750 points and 230 assists in three seasons for Coach Peace Easton and was named as the team's MVP last year after averaging 15.3 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 steals per game.

Honored as the 2019-20 Holly Springs Most Outstanding Female Student-Athlete, Gamble earned Second-Team All-District 5 distinction from the North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association and led the Golden Hawks to their third consecutive conference title.
