Cindy Ho has announced the addition of Malú Brinker to the Seahawks' roster for the 2021-22 season.
"I am very excited about the addition of Malú to the Seahawk family," Ho said. "She is a highly ranked player from Germany with strong international experience who can make an immediate impact to our program. I loved her personality, passion for the game and competitiveness."
Brinker, a product of Heidelberg, Germany, has posted a 70.0 scoring average while playing in 32 tournaments in 2020. She finished in fifth place at the RB German Junior Championship (76-73-72=221) and earned seventh place at the U-18 & U-21 Czech International Junior Championship (76-74-74=224).
In addition, Brinker posted a pair of top-25 efforts at the German National Ladies Amateur and Austrian Ladies International Amateur tournaments.
Brinker also had a successful 2019 campaign, winning the BWGV International Match Play Trophy while securing a pair of top-10 showings at the Doral-Publix Junior Classic (fourth place) and U-16 German National Championship (eighth place).
Brinker is ranked No. 56 in the U-18 European Golf Ranking and has been ranked as high as No. 2 in the German European Golf Ranking.
