Phu Khine has been honored as the Colonial Athletic Association's Women's Golfer of the Week after a record-setting performance at the GolfWeek Program Challenge.
Â
Khine, the reigning Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Year and individual champion, finished the season-opening tournament at seven-under par (71-71-67=209) to set the school record for the best 54-hole tournament score. In addition, Khine nearly matched the school record for the best single-round score with a five-under par 67 in Tuesday's final round, including four birdies in the first five holes. The Yangon, Myanmar, native finished the two-day event with a tournament-high 16 birdies.
Â
Led by Khine, the Seahawks finished seventh in the 15-team field and authored an 886 team score, including an even-par 288 result in the final round.

UNCW resumes its schedule on Sept. 27-29 at the Furman Paladin Invitational.
