Chris Neal and the UNCW women's soccer team will look to keep their momentum going when the Seahawks welcome Coastal Carolina to UNCW Soccer Stadium for a 7 p.m. non-conference tilt on Thursday evening.

Both teams are coming off opposite outcomes in the opening weekend of the season. UNCW claimed the crown at the Charleston Under Armour Invitational after besting Furman and Stephen F. Austin. Coastal Carolina, meanwhile, enters play with a 0-2-0 mark following a pair of setbacks against North Florida and Clemson.

- UNCW holds a commanding 9-1-0 all-time series lead over the Chanticleers and has won four straight outings, including a 1-0 victory last year in Conway.
- The Seahawks are looking to begin the season with three consecutive victories for the first time since 2004 when they opened the year with a nine-game win streak.
