WILMINGTON, North Carolina – With the exhibition schedule complete, Coach
Chris Neal and the UNCW women's soccer team can turn their focus to the regular season, which begins this weekend with a pair of games at the College of Charleston Under Armour Invitational.
The Seahawks, who played against Richmond and UNCG during their preseason schedule, face Furman on Friday afternoon in the season opener for both teams before closing out the weekend against Stephen F. Austin on Sunday morning.

Opening Kick-Off
- UNCW is 12-12-1 all-time in season openers after claiming a 3-1 victory over VCU last year in Richmond.
- Coach Chris Neal enters the season-opening weekend needing just one victory to reach 100 for his career. He begins the 2019 season with a 99-82-32 record in 11 seasons as a head coach.
