Karen Barefoot and the UNCW women's basketball team put the finishing touches on a strong regular season on Friday, Mar. 8, when the Seahawks visit TD Arena for a 6:30 p.m. Colonial Athletic Association tilt against the College of Charleston.

UNCW, which has secured a first-round bye in next week's CAA Championship at Delaware, enters Friday's contest with a 17-11 overall record and stand in fifth place in the league's standings after dismissing Hofstra, 61-51, on Sunday afternoon at the Mack Sports Complex.

The Seahawks, who rallied from a four-point halftime deficit, earned the sweep over the Pride after outscoring the hosts by a 38-24 margin in the second half. UNCW also had three players score in double figures and held a 42-31 advantage on the boards.
