A radio broadcast of the game may be heard on 95.9 FM "The Breeze" | WKXB HD 2 – 95.9 FM and 99.9 HD2 and live stats are available at UNCWStats.com.

UNCW will be trying to bounce back from a 77-76 setback on Thursday to Towson. The Tigers shot 58.8 percent and benefitted from junior guard Brian Fobbs' second career double-double to gain a split of the regular season series with the Seahawks.

Senior forward Devontae Cacok and rookie sensation Kai Toews continued their impressive seasons. Cacok racked up his NCAA-leading 17th double-double of the year and 52nd of his career with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Toews notched his sixth double-double behind 16 points and 11 assists.

The Seahawks are shooting for their first conference sweep of the season after defeating the Dukes, 86-83, in a double overtime thriller in the CAA opener for both teams on Jan. 3, 2019, in Harrisonburg. The Seahawks took the initial meeting at the JMU Convocation Center in a game that kick started a road sweep to start the new conference season.

JMU suffered its fifth consecutive loss on Thursday night in a 70-53 defeat at Charleston. The Cougars ended the game at TD Arena with an 18-2 run after leading by just two points at the break. CofC shot 58.3 percent in the second period to hand the Dukes their ninth road loss in 11 outings this season.

JMU's trio of Stuckey Mosley (17.1 ppg), Matt Lewis (15.7 ppg) and Darius Banks (12.6 ppg) give the Dukes plenty of firepower. The trio has accounted for 66 percent of JMU's scoring and 143 of the club's 173 three-pointers in 2018-19.
The 75-game series is the second oldest on record for the Seahawks, ranking behind only longtime state foe Campbell (104 games).

THE STORYLINES

THE SERIES: UNCW owns a 41-34 edge in the 75-game series vs. JMU. UNCW won the inaugural game on Dec. 16, 1979, and took 14 straight from Jan. 20, 2001, through Jan. 10, 2008. The Seahawks have won eight of the last 10 pairings between the two clubs and have broken the 80-point plateau in three of the last five matchups.

LAST TRASK MEETING: Cacok turned in a monster game of 26 points and 24 rebounds to power UNCW to its seventh straight win over JMU in a 71-68 CAA victory over visiting JMU on Jan. 25, 2018, at Trask Coliseum. Cacok tied his own record for most rebounds in a CAA game and recorded only the second 20-20 game in UNCW history. Mosley, the CAA's third leading scorer, poured in 21 of his team-high 23 points in the second half for the Dukes.

HOME SWEET HOME: UNCW stands 4-7 at Trask Coliseum this season, beating Allen, East Carolina, Drexel and William & Mary. The Seahawks are 2-4 vs. CAA opponents at home, defeating Drexel and W&M and falling to Charleston, Delaware, Elon and Towson.

FEBRUARY MARK: McGrath posted a 3-5 record last February in his first season with the club.

NEXT UP: Following Saturday's matchup with the Dukes, the Seahawks head back on the road for rematches against Drexel and Delaware. The Seahawks take on the Dragons on Thursday (Feb. 7) in Philadelphia before moving over to Newark, Del., to play the Blue Hens late Saturday (Feb. 9).
