Bjugan, Klausen Earn CAA Diving Honors

WILMINGTON, N.C. – Freshmen divers Kolbein Bjugan and Courtney Klausen were named Divers of the Week by the Colonial Athletic Association following strong performances at the Patriot Invitational last weekend in Fairfax, Va.

Bjugan, who has now been named Diver of the Week three times, finished second in the 1-meter and third in the 3-meter dives, scoring 292.65 and 293.45 points, respectively.

Klausen, meanwhile, was fourth in the 1-meter with 236.8 points and third in the 3-meter board with 260.1.

In the fall finale for both programs, the men won their second straight Patriot Invitational championship while the women finished third.

The Seahawks open their spring semester schedule on Jan. 11, when they host Davidson in the final home meet of the season.
