Swimming & Diving Preview: at CAA Pod Meet

HARRISONBURG, Va. – UNCW visits Savage Natatorium this weekend for the annual Colonial Athletic Association Pod Meet beginning on Saturday.

The Seahawks will get their first looks at conference rivals Delaware, William & Mary and the host Dukes in the two-day meet.

William & Mary won the men's title in 2019 while JMU took top honors in the women's meet.

Junior Evan Arsenault owns the second-best time in the CAA (23.65) in the 50 free (23.65) and will have an opportunity to compete against William & Mary's Missy Cundiff (23.28), who owns the fastest time in the conference.

Josh Rigsbee, another UNCW junior, has fashioned the league's top-times in the 100 and 200 Breaststrokes, checking in at 56.01 second and 2:03.89, respectively.

Sophomore Brent Hoshall rounds out UNCW's top-times holders, pacing the conference with a time of 1:51.70 in the 200 Backstroke.

The pod meet will be scored as individual meets.

The Seahawks close out their fall schedule at the Patriot Invitational, hosted by George Mason, on Nov. 21-23.
