Swimming & Diving Preview: at ECU

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW visits East Carolina for a 5 p.m. start in Greenville as the Seahawks begin a run of three straight road meets to close out the fall schedule.

The Seahawks split their last meet with Old Dominion as the men rolled to their first win of the season while the women dropped their second meet of the young season. Both programs suffered losses to visiting Tennessee in the opening meet of the season.

A pair of freshmen fivers have stood out for the Seahawks. Courtney Klausen has earned CAA Diver of the Week honors once and has broken both freshman records. On the men's side, Kolbein Bjugan has twice been named CAA Diver of the Week.

Against ODU, the Seahawk men won all but one event and featured multi-event wins by Aidan Snively, Josh Rigsbee, Sean Cannon and Bjugan.

The Seahawks will next compete in the CAA Pod Meet Nov 2-3 in Harrisonburg, Va.
