Five Things to Know
- The Seahawks are making their first appearance in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll this week at the No. 10 position. UNCW is one of four Colonial Athletic Association teams listed in the rankings this week.

- Coastal Carolina brings a 1-2-1 record into Thursday's tilt, but will be trying to win for the first time since a 2-0 victory at Davidson in the season opener on Aug. 17.
- UNCW leads the all-time series against the Chanticleers by an 8-1-0 margin and has won the last three installments. However, the teams are meeting for the first time since the 2014 campaign.
