3/8/2018 7:38:00 PM

TEMPE, Arizona – Looking to continue its strong play in the last week, UNCW visits Arizona State for a three-game series with the Sun Devils beginning on Friday with an 8:30 p.m. EST start.

The Seahawks (9-3) carry a four-game winning streak into the road weekend after sweeping Princeton last weekend at Brooks Field. UNCW owns a 1-1 record on the road, having knocked off nationally-ranked North Carolina in mid-February and falling at Coastal Carolina, another nationally-ranked program, in later in the month.

Arizona State, meanwhile, edged Pepperdine, 10-7, on Tuesday and has won three of its last four outings, including a series home win against Oklahoma State. The Sun Devils stand at 7-6 entering this weekend.

This will be the first meeting between the two programs, but UNCW has faced a pair of PAC 12 schools in Arizona (2002) and Utah (2005), although the Utes were a member of the Mountain West Conference at the time.
