The Seahawks and the Cougars, who are meeting for the first time this season, square off at 7 p.m. in a game that can be seen on the Seahawk Digital Network or heard live in the Wilmington area on 95.9 The Ticket with Joe Catenacci and Chris Bell providing the play-by-play.

With four weeks remaining in the regular season, both UNCW and Charleston are hoping to climb higher in the league's standings. The Seahawks claimed their first CAA victory of the year on Sunday afternoon with a 59-55 triumph at Hofstra while the Cougars have dropped 10 straight games following an 80-53 setback at home to Drexel. - The all-time series is tied at 11-11, but the Seahawks claimed two victories over the Cougars last year, including a 49-44 decision in the opening round of the CAA Championship at James Madison.
- Sophomore guard Lacey Suggs, the Seahawks' leading scorer, is averaging 13.2 points per game in Friday contests while shooting 46.9 percent from the field.
- Senior guard Madison Raque, who erupted for a game-high 23 points at Hofstra on Sunday, set a school record by scoring 15 points in the fourth quarter. She has tallied 10 or more points in a quarter nine times over the last three years.
- The Seahawks have had multiple players score in double figures in 19-of-22 games this year.
