WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Coach Chris Neal and the UNCW women's soccer team begin a two-game Colonial Athletic Association road swing on Thursday night when the Seahawks visit Drexel for a 6 p.m. contest at Vidas Field.

UNCW and Drexel both enter Thursday's tilt with a 1-2-0 league mark after falling in their most recent outing on Sunday afternoon. The Seahawks, 7-3-0 overall, were edged by Hofstra, 2-1, at Duke's Koskinen Stadium while the Dragons (4-4-4) were shut out by William & Mary, 2-0.

Five Things to Know
  1. UNCW remains tied for the CAA lead with 22 goals while Drexel has tallied just 11 markers in 12 contests this season.
  2. The Seahawks hold the No. 10 position in this week's United Soccer Coaches East Region rankings, marking the fifth consecutive week they have been included in the poll.
  3. Thursday's game will feature the top two defensive teams in the CAA. UNCW has allowed a league-low 11 goals while Drexel follows with 12 goals against in 12 contests.
  4. Drexel has played in eight overtime contests this year, including six double-overtime encounters.
  5. UNCW leads the all-time series by a 9-5-3 margin, but Drexel has posted a 3-1-1 mark in the last five installments, including a 1-0 victory last year in Wilmington.
