BOILING SPRINGS, North Carolina – Jack Cosgrove and Connor Forsythe set pool records in the 200 Freestyle and Butterfly, respectively, as UNCW cruised to a sweep of host Gardner-Webb in swimming action Saturday.

Scores: Men, UNCW 168-94; Women: UNCW 147-115

The Seahawks improved to 7-4 on the women's side while the men ran their mark to 6-4. Both teams will compete next weekend in Columbia, S.C., in the South Carolina Invitational, their final competition before next month's Colonial Athletic Association championships.

Cosgrove, who also won the 200 Backstroke and swam on the winning 200 Medley Relay, set a the Bost Pool record with a time of 1:41.14. Joining Cosgrove with a pool record mark was Forsythe, who touched the wall in a time of 1:51.14, joined Cosgrove on the winning 200 Medley Relay.

UNCW swept the freestyle sprints behind efforts from Evan Arsenault and Sean Cannon.
