The Seahawks, who begin CAA competition with a 4-5-1 record, visit in-state foe Elon on Thursday, Sept. 21, for a 7 p.m. contest before venturing north to Hofstra on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m.

Five Things to Know
  1. Freshman midfielder Molly McGarry has received the CAA's Rookie-of-the-Week award in each of the last two weeks, scoring three of her four goals in the last four games.
  2. UNCW will be facing an opponent from the State of North Carolina for the sixth time in the last seven games when the Seahawks travel to Elon.
  3. The Seahawks posted their third multi-goal game of the season in Sunday's win over Campbell and has an 18-0-2 record in their last 20 games when registering at least two goals.
  4. UNCW leads the all-time series against Elon by a 12-0-0 margin and has allowed just three goals against the Phoenix in those contests.
  5. Hofstra holds a 12-5-2 series advantage over the Seahawks, but UNCW is 2-0-1 in the last three encounters after beating the Pride, 4-1, last year in Wilmington.

Up Next: The Seahawks continue CAA play next week by hosting James Madison on Thursday, Sept. 28, before heading to Delaware for an Oct. 1 showdown against the Blue Hens.
