WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW softball team looks to put the finishing touches on an impressive 16-game homestand Wednesday afternoon as the Seahawks welcome East Carolina to Boseman Field for a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m.

Wednesday's doubleheader will serve as the Seahawks' annual Military Appreciation Day. Current and retired military personnel and their immediate family members can receive free admission by showing their military ID at the ticket window.
In addition, the Seahawks will be wearing special camouflage jerseys, which will be auctioned off during the doubleheader to benefit Step Up for Soldiers. The first 100 UNCW students will also receive a free t-shirt when they attend the twinbill.
