RESULTS

"It was a good weekend of swims and dives for our student-athletes," said UNCW Head Coach Jason Memont. "This was our first multi-team event of the season and we saw a lot of people step up and realize what they can do. I'm proud of the effort from both teams, especially the women's team, which had a chance to knockoff the reigning conference champions."

Johnson touched the wall in a time of 2:20.58, a season-best, in the women's race while Whitty fashioned a season-best time of 2:06.31. Freshman teammate Josh Rigsbee finished second (2:06.41).

Adding a win for the Seahawks was freshman Charlotte Watts, who clocked in at 2:05.29 in winning the 200 Butterfly.

The Seahawks close out the fall semester later this month when they compete at the Patriot Invitational, hosted by George Mason, on Nov. 16-18.
