UNCW Set To Honor Seniors On Saturday

 
WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW hosts UNC Asheville and Gardner-Webb on Saturday in a tri-meet as the Seahawks celebrate their final combined home meet of the season. NC State will also be competing in diving on Saturday.

The Seahawks are coming off a strong road sweep of Davidson that helped three UNCW athletes earn Colonial Athletic Association weekly honors. Senior Will Ryan rode three event wins and a relay win to CAA Swimmer-of-the-Week honors while Allen Crosby and Adyson Lowe were named men's and women's diver-of-the-week, respectively.

The wins raised the men's record to 3-1 while the women improved to 4-1.

UNCW will recognize their eight seniors prior to the meet, which begins at 11 a.m. Being honored are Alex Rayle, Will Ryan, Alex Sabau and Tad Spence from the men's program while Amanda Didawick, Kelsey Moore, Casey Murdoch and Kathryn Ostrom are from the women's program.

The Seahawks visit South Carolina on Jan. 27-28 in their next meet.
