The Seahawks enter Friday's home game against the Dukes with a 7-19 overall record and a 3-12 mark in the CAA after dropping a 69-52 decision at Northeastern on Sunday afternoon. Senior guard Shatia Cole scored a game-high 18 points, including 10 in the first half, but the Seahawks were unable to overcome a strong-shooting second half by the Huskies.

Cole, who led the Seahawks in scoring for the 15th time this season, is tied for 10th in the CAA in scoring with a 12.8 point per game average while leading the Seahawks with 36 steals. She has scored in double figures in 12 of her last 14 games, including a season-high 23 points against Hofstra on Jan. 23.

Junior guard Jasmine Steele has also been impressive over the last several weeks, scoring in double figures in nine straight games after a 12-point effort at Northeastern on Sunday. She has raised her scoring average to 9.5 points per outing and had a career-high 23 points in the Seahawks' loss at Drexel on Feb. 14.

James Madison brings a 13-game winning streak into Friday's visit to the Port City after dispatching Towson, 61-45, on Sunday at the JMU Convocation Center. The Dukes, who are 20-5 overall and 13-1 in the CAA, are the league's top offensive team by scoring 70.0 points per game while outscoring opponents by a CAA-best 14.6 points per game.

Senior guard Jazmon Gwathmey, who was named as the CAA's Preseason Player of the Year, has lived up to the expectation by leading the conference with a 21.1 point per game average after a 21-point, 11-rebound effort in Sunday's win over the Tigers. She also ranks 15th in the circuit by averaging 6.0 rebounds per outing.

The Seahawks and the Dukes will meet for the 67th time in a series James Madison leads by a 57-9 margin. JMU has won the last 11 meetings in the series following a 60-40 triumph over UNCW on Jan. 31 in Harrisonburg.

UNCW completes its home schedule on Sunday afternoon by welcoming Delaware to Trask Coliseum for Senior Day. Opening tip-off between the Seahawks and the Blue Hens is scheduled for 2 p.m.
