WILMINGTON, North Carolina – After dropping a pair of games at the UNCW Hampton Inn Thanksgiving Classic last weekend, the Seahawks hope to head into their fall semester exams on a positive note as they head to Davidson on Tuesday night for a non-conference clash with the Wildcats at 7 p.m.

UNCW, which has split its first two road contests of the early season, ventures into Belk Arena with a 2-3 record after falling against Providence and La Salle in last weekend's tournament. Junior guard
Madison Raque paced the Seahawks by averaging 11.0 points per game while redshirt senior forward
Jordan Henry contributed 9.0 points and 8.5 rebounds per contest.
Raque continues to lead the Seahawks offensively with an 11.8 point per game average while Henry ranks third in the Colonial Athletic Association with a .583 field goal percentage while scoring 9.0 points per contest. Henry is also tied for the team lead with 38 rebounds in five games.
After losing a pair of games at the Cancun Challenge during the holiday weekend, Davidson will be aiming to earn its first win in seven chances this season. The Wildcats dropped a 76-41 decision against Toledo before falling by a 70-58 count to Idaho State on Friday.
Junior forward
Mackenzie Latt has led the offensive efforts for the Wildcats this season, averaging 11.2 points per game. She is also averaging a team-high 6.0 rebounds per game while recording eight blocked shots in six games.
The Seahawks and the Wildcats will meet for the 10th time in a series UNCW leads by a slim 5-4 margin. Davidson ended the Seahawks' two-game win streak in the series last year with a 77-50 victory during the Hampton Inn Thanksgiving Classic at Trask Coliseum.
