WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Looking to earn its first Colonial Athletic Association victory of the season, the UNCW women's basketball team begins a two-game road swing to the Mid-Atlantic Region on Friday night with a visit to Delaware.

The Seahawks and the Blue Hens, who both dropped their CAA openers on Sunday, tip-off at 7 p.m. from inside the Bob Carpenter Center. UNCW enters Friday's contest with a 4-8 overall record after losing a 67-60 decision against Elon at Trask Coliseum on Sunday, marking the Seahawks' second straight defeat.

Jordan Henry tallied her fourth "double double" of the season with 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds while also posting a career-high six blocked shots. Junior guard
Jasmine Steele tallied a game-high 13 points while juniors

Naqaiyyah Teague each contributed 10 points.

Teague, who has scored in double figures in six of her last seven games, is the Seahawks' leading scorer with 10.2 points per game while ranking third on the squad with a 6.7 rebouding average. Henry paces the Seahawks by averaging 9.0 rebounds per game.

Off to a 5-7 start to the season, Delaware opens a stretch of five home games in its next six contests on Friday night against the Seahawks. The Blue Hens have dropped five of their last six games, including back-to-back affairs, after a 58-49 setback in their CAA lidlifter at Hofstra on Sunday afternoon.

Erika Brown tallied a game-high 15 points for the Blue Hens while freshman forward
Nicole Enabosi added 11 points with seven rebounds.

Brown is the Blue Hens' leading scorer with a 13.3 average while junior forward
Hannah Jardine has contributed 11.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest while leading the team with a .453 three-point field goal percentage.

UNCW and Delaware will meet for the 30th time in a series the Blue Hens lead by a 21-8 margin. However, the Seahawks ended a nine-game losing streak against Delaware by posting a 71-68 overtime victory last year in Trask Coliseum as
