Results
WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Will Ryan and Catherine Gargula won three events apiece as UNCW split a dual meet with visiting Davidson on Senior Day Saturday at the Seahawk Natatorium.

The men topped DC, 165-128, while the women dropped a 162-137 decision.

Ryan, who joined the Seahawks at the beginning of this semester, won both the 100 and 200 Breast strokes and added a win in the 200 IM.

Gargula, who was making her final appearance as a Seahawk at the Natatorium, closed out a fine career, winning both the 100 and 200 Backstrokes and chipping in a win in the 100 Fly.

Katie Kilgour won the 3-meter dive with a freshman record of 266.25, topping a record held for 25 years by Kelly Sutton.

Allen Crosby, the reigning Colonial Athletic Association Diver of the Week, qualified for the Zone B Regionals in that event.

Ryan also swam a leg of the winning 400 Medley Relay to open the meet.

Christine Souther, whom like Gargula was wrapping up her home career, picked up wins in the 200 Breaststroke and 200 IM.

The Seahawks return to the pool on Feb. 6 when the women visit Campbell at noon.
