Â
Both teams enter Sunday's game with identical 5-10 overall records and will be aiming to rebound from a loss on Friday. The Seahawks, who have a 1-3 mark in league play, dropped a 68-64 decision against Hofstra at Trask Coliseum while Charleston is winless in four CAA games following a 63-47 setback against Delaware at home on Friday night.
Â
Senior guard
Shatia Cole led the Seahawks against Hofstra with a season-high 23 points after making 9 of 16 field goal attempts in addition to a 3-for-5 effort from the foul line. Meanwhile, sophomore center
Rebekah Banks added a career-high 16 points on Friday after a 7-for-11 performance from the field in addition to contributing eight rebounds.

Cole, who leads the Seahawks with an 11.1 scoring average, has posted double-digit scoring efforts in five of her last six games and enters Sunday's game needing just seven points to reach 1,000 for her college career.
Â
Junior guard
Breanna Bolden has posted a double-double in each of the last two games for the Cougars. After scoring 13 points with 12 rebounds in a loss against Hofstra last Sunday, the Edgewater, Md., native led Charleston with 16 points and 10 rebounds in Friday night's defeat against Delaware.
Â
Bolden is the Cougars' leading scorer with a 14.7 point per game average while senior forward
Jackie Luna-Castro is contributing 11.0 points per outing.
Â
The Seahawks hold a 9-7 advantage in the all-time series after sweeping both meetings against Charleston last year. The teams have split four meetings since the Cougars joined the CAA prior to the 2013-14 season.
Â
After Sunday's game, the Seahawks will embark on a two-game road trip beginning with a visit to William & Mary on Friday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m.
