WILMINGTON, North Carolina – With their sights on trying to win for the fifth time in the last six games, the Seahawks continue their quest at a first round bye in the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament by visiting the College of Charleston for a Sunday matinee at TD Arena.

Opening tip-off between the Seahawks and the Cougars is slated for 1:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on the American Sports Network with Mike Gleason and Nate Ross calling the action.

LAST TIME OUT: Led by a record-setting effort from sophomore guard Brie Mobley, the Seahawks battled back from a 12-point deficit in the first half to earn their second straight overtime win, a 71-68 victory over Delaware on Thursday night at Trask Coliseum. UNCW, which ended a nine-game skid against the Blue Hens, rallied from a 32-20 deficit to earn their fourth win in the last five games. Mobley broke the school and Trask Coliseum single-game scoring records with 46 points after making 19 of 25 shots from the floor, including a 2-for-2 effort from three-point range, while connecting on six of seven free throws.

SCOUTING CHARLESTON: Currently in ninth place in the CAA standings, the Cougars have lost 9 of their last 10 games after suffering an 84-55 loss against William & Mary on Thursday night at TD Arena. The Cougars, who are 5-22 overall and 3-13 in the CAA, have dropped five straight games at home after Thursday's decision. Sophomore forward Breanna Bolden led the Cougars with 11 points while sophomore forward Courtney Gardner added 10 points off the bench. Bolden is the Cougars' leading scorer with a 13.2 average, which ranks eighth in the CAA. She also leads the team with a 6.8 rebounding average.

HISTORY LESSON: Sophomore guard Naqaiyyah Teague and senior guard Kelva Atkins combined to score 35 points with 13 rebounds and 8 assists as the Seahawks went wire-to-wire en route to a 69-57 victory over the Cougars on Jan. 9 at Trask Coliseum. Atkins scored a game-high 21 points, including 12 in the first half, with six assists and three steals while Teague tallied 14 points with nine rebounds and two assists. Sophomore Breanna Bolden led Charleston with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

SERIES BUSINESS: Sunday's game will mark the 16th all-time meeting between the Seahawks and the Cougars in a series that UNCW leads by an 8-7 margin. The Seahawks snapped a two-game losing streak in the series by earning a 69-57 victory over the Cougars on Jan. 9 at Trask Coliseum. UNCW has won four of the seven previous encounters at TD Arena.

LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION: The Seahawks will be playing in their first televised game of the season when they visit the College of Charleston on Sunday afternoon. UNCW has not played in a televised game since earning a 60-59 victory over William & Mary on Jan. 23, 2014. Sunday's game will be televised in the Wilmington, N.C. area on "Bounce TV."

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER: Just over two months after senior guard Kelva Atkins tied the UNCW single-game record with 40 points, the mark was eclipsed on Thursday night after sophomore guard Brie Mobley scored a career-high 46 points to lead the Seahawks past Delaware in overtime. During her record-setting performance, Mobley accomplished the following:
     • Broke the UNCW women's basketball single-game scoring record, surpassing the mark of 40 points set by Tressa Reese at Charleston Southern on Feb. 13, 1991 and by Atkins against Charleston Southern on Dec. 20, 2014.
     • Broke the University of Delaware single-game record for points by an opponent, eclipsing the previous mark of 43 points set by Maine's Cindy Blodgett on Feb. 8, 1998.
     • Posted the fourth-highest single-game scoring total in Colonial Athletic Association history ... Only Delaware's Elena Delle Donne (54), George Mason's Keri Chaconas (51) and Drexel's Gabriela Marginean (47) have scored more points in a single-game in the conference's history.
     • Matched the NCAA single-game season high for Division I women's basketball ... Ashley Beverly-Kelley of Troy set the mark with 46 points against Georgia Southern on Feb. 19.
     • Recorded the 17th 40-point game in NCAA Division I this season.
     • Tallied the 19th 40-point game in CAA women's basketball history.
     • Set the Trask Coliseum record for single-game scoring by any collegiate player (men's and women's) ... Eclipsed previous women's mark of 40 points set by Atkins in the Seahawks' 80-70 win over Charleston Southern on Dec. 20, 2014 ... Passed men's single-game mark of 37 points set by Abdulai Jalloh of James Madison on Feb. 9, 2008.
     • Became just the third player (men's or women's) in UNCW basketball history to reach at least 40 points in a single game.
