AquaHawks Swept By Rival East Carolina

GREENVILLE, North Carolina – Catherine Gargula won the women's 200 Backstroke for UNCW, but East Carolina finished off a sweep of this weekend's meet on Saturday at Minges Natatorium.

The Pirates posted a 203-136 win over the Seahawks in the men's meet and added a 212-130 victory on the women's side.

Gargula, who won the 100 Backstroke on Friday, finished off a sweep of the backstroke events with a winning time of 2:05.37. Her event win was the only one on the day for UNCW as ECU exhibitioned the final eight races.

The Seahawks return to action on Oct. 31-Nov. 1 with a Colonial Athletic Association pod meet in Newark, Del.
