PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania – Coming off a wire-to-wire victory over the College of Charleston on Friday afternoon, the Seahawks complete a grueling stretch of four games in eight days by traveling to the City of Brotherly Love for a Colonial Athletic Association clash against Drexel on Sunday. Opening tip-off between the Seahawks and the Dragons at the Daskalakis Athletic Center is slated for 2:00 p.m. and the game will be available via the Seahawk Digital Network.

LAST TIME OUT FOR UNCW: Led by senior guard Kelva Atkins and sophomore guard Naqaiyyah Teague, the Seahawks posted their second wire-to-wire victory of the season with a 69-57 CAA victory over the College of Charleston in front of 2,488 fans at Trask Coliseum on Friday afternoon. The Seahawks, who also earned a wire-to-wire win against UNC Pembroke in the season opener, used a combined 35-point effort from Atkins and Teague to earn the victory. While Atkins led all scorers with 21 points, Teague posted a season-high 14 points by making six of nine shots from the floor in addition to a two-for-four effort at the free throw line.

SCOUTING DREXEL: The Dragons will bring an 8-6 overall record and a 2-1 CAA mark into Sunday's game against UNCW after dropping a 53-52 overtime decision against Hofstra on Friday night at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. In a game that featured seven ties and eight lead changes, the Dragons overcame a six-point deficit in the first half to force overtime before suffering their first home loss of the season. Sophomore forward Sarah Curran, who leads Drexel in scoring with a 13.2 average, paced the Dragons with 17 points while sophomore guard Alexis Smith came off the bench to score 11 points.

SERIES BUSINESS: The Dragons and the Seahawks will be meeting for the 23rd time in a series Drexel leads by a 14-8 margin. In addition, Drexel will be attempting to extend its series win streak to six games in a row after sweeping the season series last year. The Seahawks have earned just two wins in Philadelphia against the Dragons - a 60-58 victory on Feb. 28, 2010 and a 72-52 triumph on Mar. 2, 2003.

HISTORY LESSON: Drexel shot a blistering 54.5 percent from the field in the second half to extend a six-point advantage at the intermission to earn a 56-45 victory over the Seahawks at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The Dragons, who were held to just 9-for-28 shooting in the first half, were led by a game-high 16 points from Tory Thierolf while Fiona Flanagan added a game-high nine rebounds for the Dragons. Kelva Atkins tallied 11 points for the Seahawks, who were limited to just 33.3 percent shooting from the field
