WOMAN'S HOOPS PLAYER CYDNEI STOUDT TO SEEK REDSHIRT

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNC Wilmington sophomore forward Cydnei Stoudt will seek a redshirt for the 2006-07 season, Head Coach Ann Hancock announced Friday.

Stoudt, who appeared in 14 games and averaged 3.7 minutes per game last season for the Seahawks, has a torn labrum in her left hip. She had surgery in June to repair the damage, but has been nagged with the injury since the beginning of preseason.

UNCW plays 14 home games this season and kicks off the year with three straight road games before returning to Trask Coliseum to host the Hilton Wilmington Riverside Classic, Nov. 24 and 25.
