Willard, Aillet Win Events at Seahawk Invitational

WILMINGTON, N.C. – On an abbreviated day of action, UNCW's Bailey Willard and Jamisyn Aillet posted event wins for the Seahawks at the Seahawk Invitational on Friday at the Greene Track and Field Complex.

Willard used a toss of 48.11 meters to win the Hammer Thrown, while Aillet's throw of 38.3 meters was a personal best and tops in the event.

The meet continues Saturday at noon.

UNCW returns to action at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge on Mar. 13-14.
