Logan Paces Men's Golf at The Prestige

LA QUINTA, California – UNCW men's golfer John Logan posted a two-under 69 score in the first round en route to earning a share of 19th place at The Prestige hosted by UC Davis from Feb. 16-17 at PGA West.

The Seahawks (283-299=582) finished 10th among 24 teams, nine of which were ranked within the top 50, following Tuesday's second round. The third round was suspended and later canceled due to dangerous high winds in the area on Wednesday.

Logan authored an Eagle on Hole No. 12 in Tuesday's second round and paced UNCW with eight birdies.

Stanford claimed the team title, three strokes ahead of Texas Tech while Oregon's Aiden Krafft claimed individual medalist honors.

The Seahawks resume their season at the ECU Intercollegiate from Mar. 16-17.
