Field Set For 2025 Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic returns to Trask Coliseum for the second straight season featuring the host UNCW men's basketball program along with Gardner-Webb, Navy and Southeastern Louisiana over Thanksgiving Weekend.

The round-robin event will take place from Nov. 26-29 at Trask Coliseum. The action starts on Wednesday, Nov. 26, with two games, before returning with a pair of games on both Nov. 28 and 29.

The 2025 Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic is included in all 2025-26 UNCW men's basketball season ticket packages. Renewals are available for existing season ticket holders and new accounts can place deposits for $25 through June 3.

UNCW and Gardner-Webb meet for the second time ever and first since 2018. UNCW Head Coach Takayo Siddle played for the Runnin' Bulldogs from 2005-2009, helping his alma mater to an upset win at nationally ranked Kentucky as a junior before repeating the feat as UNCW's Head Coach in 2023.

Current Gardner-Webb Head Coach Jeremy Luther served as a Runnin' Bulldogs assistant coach under Tim Craft, along with Siddle and UNCW assistant Paul Hemrick during the 2013-14 campaign.

Navy, who played in the CAA from 1979-1991, returns to the Coliseum of Chaos for the first time since 1991. The Seahawks and Midshipmen played 17 times from 1985-1991, including the 1987 CAA Championship Game, a narrow 53-50 Navy win to complete a three-peat with Hall of Famer David Robinson.

UNCW and Southeastern Louisiana will meet for the first time in the second annual Live Oak Bank Holiday Classic.

* The CAA was known as the ECAC South Conference from 1979-85
