SOUTHPORT, North Carolina – UNCW junior Hannah Altman soared to the 2025 Coastal Athletic Association Women's Golf Individual Championship with a three-under 69 third-round score at the CAA Championships held at The Reserve Club at St. James from Apr. 11-13.
Altman (74-73-69=216) edged Charleston's Adrian Anderson (74-73-70=217) to become the Seahawks' fifth CAA individual medalist (sixth overall) and first since Phu Khine in 2019. The Lake City, S.C., product, was also named 2025 CAA Most Outstanding Player and to the CAA All-Tournament Team.
The Cougars claimed the CAA Championship three strokes ahead of runner-up UNCW, who was tied for first with Charleston entering the final round.
Joining Altman on the CAA All-Tournament Team was redshirt junior Victoria Levy, who ascended six spots with a one-under 71 third-round score to finish tied for fifth.
Altman produced a team-high 10 birdies in the three-day tournament including four on Sunday. The Seahawks totaled 36 birdies as a team.
