Baseball Fan Guide: Charlotte

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks (8-9) host Charlotte (8-7) for a three-game series beginning Friday with a 6 p.m. first pitch at Brooks Field.

UNCW dropped an extra-inning contest to nationally-ranked North Carolina earlier this weekend while the 49ers split a pair of mid-week tests, falling at Appalachian State and run-ruling Davidson at home on Wednesday.

Against UNC, Brooks Field welcomed 3,242 spectators for the game, ranking fifth on the stadium's all-time list.

On Saturday, the Seahawks will be wearing the first of three special uniform tops as they recognize Wilmington's Miracle League. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off during the game and winners can get their jerseys following the game.
