UNCW sank eight free throws in the final 84 seconds to erase a seven-point deficit in a narrow 70-69 win vs. Marshall, despite not making a field goal in the final seven minutes of the game.
Patrick Wessler (21) and Nolan Hodge (20) were the first Seahawk teammates to notch 20-point efforts since Donovan Newby and Khamari McGriff on Nov. 6, 2024, vs. Georgia Southern.
Wessler, whose point total was a career-high, notched his fourth career double-double against the Thundering Herd with 13 rebounds.

MEN'S HOOPS CELEBRATES 75 SEASONS
No one could have imagined the heights the UNCW men's basketball program has experienced when William J. "Bill" Brooks was hired as Wilmington College's first athletic director, basketball coach, baseball coach and chairman of the health and physical education department in September of 1951.
Now, as the program prepares for its 75th season since the hiring of Coach Brooks, reflections on memorable moments and milestones, highlighted by Tidal Rising, a historic men's basketball documentary series presented by Southeast Mortgage, will be celebrated throughout the 2025-26 campaign.

SCOUTING THE RAGIN' CAJUNS
Louisiana will look to snap a seven-game losing skid on Saturday in its fourth home game of the season.
Led by first-year head coach Quannas White, a former Houston assistant under Kelvin Sampson, the Ragin' Cajuns are averaging 56.8 points and shooting at a 38.3 percent clip this season.
White has started 10 different players this season, including Dorian Finister, the lone Louisiana player to start all nine games thus far. Finister, one of nine Louisiana natives on the roster, is averaging a team-high 11.8 points to go with 4.6 rpg.
