First Pitch Banquet Set For Jan. 24

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The UNCW Baseball program will hold its 23rd annual First Pitch Banquet, presented by 101 Mobility, on Jan. 24, on campus at the Burney Center.

The event check-in begins at 5 p.m. with the program starting at 6 p.m.

Upon checking in, attendees will have the chance to review sports memorabilia and local Wilmington business gift packages assembled for our silent auction.

The main program includes the introduction of the 2026 team, presentation of the 2025 Team Awards, and a senior baseball address. Our guest speaker panel this year will be a group of Seahawk Greats who will talk about the past, present and future of UNCW Baseball, Heath Altman, Ronald (Bear) Hill, Brooks Baldwin, and Zane Taylor.

"With this event kicking off our season, our coaching staff is excited about this occasion," said Head Coach Randy Hood. "We encourage you to attend and help us celebrate the achievements of the Seahawk Baseball program. Your support plays a major role in our success and in the lives of the young men who step on the field in the spring."

Check-In: 5:00 p.m.
Dinner: 6:00 p.m.
Cost: Individual Tickets $150 each, Corporate Table (7 Tickets) $1,000
Payment: If paying by check, it should be made payable to The Seahawk Club, with "Baseball Banquet" on the memo line.
Corporate Tables Include: 7 seats, plus your pick of a current Seahawk player or assistant coach, recognition during the event, and a signed UNCW Baseball Helmet by the 2026 Team
