Snowden, Carrico Shine At Fall Frenzy

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Cameron Snowden rolled to an NCAA qualifying time in the 100 Butterfly and William Carrico set a meet record in the 400 IM to highlight UNCW's performance on Saturday at the Fall Frenzy Invitational.

Snowden, who competed in the NCAA Championships last season as a junior, fashioned another qualifying time in the 100 Butterfly when she won the opening event of the finals session with a mark of 52.08 seconds. That time also ranks 26th nationally and was a meet record.

Carrico, who set a program record in the 200 IM on Friday, won the 400 IM on Saturday with a meet record time of 3:46.90. He moved into the top 50 nationally with that time.

In the 100 Backstroke, Jack Vanhowe picked up an event win with a time of 47.47.

Both teams are in third place behind Queens University.
