Fitch Joins Seahawks as Graduate Transfer

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW women's basketball team has bolstered its post depth with the addition of experienced forward Isis Fitch to the Seahawk program for the 2024-25 campaign.

Fitch spent the previous four seasons at Bradley where she played in 116 career games with 64 starts, including 59 starts over the last two years. The incoming graduate transfer averaged a career-high 8.6 points along with 5.8 rebounds in 2023-24.

"Ice was a fan favorite the moment she stepped on campus. She brings experience at the post spot and will be an amazing example for our young post players coming in," said UNCW Head Coach Nicole Woods. "She's a great player and even better person with championship experience! We are lucky to have her!"

The six-foot-even Fitch surpassed double figures scoring in 14 games last season, including a career-high 19 points against Belmont. The Homewood, Ill., product, produced back-to-back double-double efforts vs. Illinois State and Indiana State and totaled over 10 boards in three games.

As a junior, Fitch hauled in a career-high 15 rebounds for the Braves vs. Southern Illinois and contributed another pair of double-doubles while reaching double-digit points in eight contests. Fitch also helped Bradley to the 2021 MVC Tournament Championship and NCAA First Round berth against Texas as a freshman.

She was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll as well as the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll in 2021.

Fitch was a McDonald's All-American nominee and Third-Team All-State selection in high school where she lettered for three prep seasons at Andrew High School before transferring to Homewood-Flossmoor for her senior year. Her father, Steve, was a two-year member of the men's basketball team at Illinois State.
