Seahawks Receive CAA Opponents for 2023-24

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – With the new hoops season less than three months out, the UNCW men's basketball team now knows where its Coastal Athletic Association games will be contested in 2023-24.

The CAA unveiled its men's basketball opponents and locations for the new season early Tuesday. Dates and times will be announced later.

Fourth-year Head Coach Takayo Siddle's club will embark on an 18-game conference schedule against league foes that features five repeat opponents, four home-only opponents and four away-only opponents.

Conference games will primarily be slated for a Thursday/Saturday schedule with some contests played on Mondays. For the fifth consecutive year, CAA matchups will be available on FloHoops, CBS Sports Network, and local television partners throughout the league's footprint. In addition, the semifinals and final of the CAA Men's Basketball Championship will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

The Seahawks will meet Campbell, Charleston, Drexel, Elon and Towson twice during the 2023-24 regular season.

In home games, UNCW will face Campbell, Charleston, Delaware, Drexel, Elon, Hofstra, Monmouth, North Carolina A&T and Towson at Trask Coliseum.

Road tilts are scheduled at Campbell, Charleston, Drexel, Elon, Hampton, Northeastern, Stony Brook, Towson and William & Mary.

Following completion of the regular campaign, the league's teams will convene at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, DC, for the 2024 CAA Men's Basketball Championship.
