UNCW To Host NIT Second Round On Saturday

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW will host the second round of the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) on Saturday at 7 p.m. against the winner of Wednesday's Dayton versus Bradley game.

Saturday's game will be the first postseason game played in Trask Coliseum

The Seahawks, who are advancing for the third time in program history (2002 NCAA, 2022 CBI), moved to the second round following a 68-67 win at Yale on Tuesday. UNCW trailed by as many as 14 points in the second half before Christian May's three-pointer with 34 seconds remaining in regulation gave it a one-point lead.

Season ticket holders will have the opportunity to claim their tickets for Saturday for 24 hours beginning at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. They should check their email for direct correspondence from the ticket office.

Any tickets that weren't a part of season ticket packages will be available at UNCWSports.com/buytickets.

After 1 p.m. on Thursday, all remaining unclaimed seats will go on sale.

Student tickets will also be available via an online claim at 1 p.m.
