Fobes Concludes NCAA Raleigh Regional

RALEIGH, North Carolina – UNCW's Mallory Fobes concluded the NCAA Women's Golf Raleigh Regional with an even-par 72 third-round score at the Lonnie Poole Course on Wednesday.

Fobes (71-77-72=220) finished the three-day NCAA Regional tied for 30th in the 66-player field.

Chattanooga's Dorota Zalewska topped the individual leaderboard to advance to the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championships, scheduled to be played May 19-24 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Arizona paced the 12-team field and will be joined by host NC State, Wake Forest, TCU and Florida State as teams advancing to the NCAA Championship from the Raleigh Regional.

Fobes carded 34 rounds of par or better including nine birdies.

The East Bend, N.C., native was the fifth player in program history to appear as an individual at an NCAA Regional along with Lori Beth Adams (2013, 2014), Sofia Hagsund (2010), Michelle Jarman (2006) and Nicole Flood (1998).
