Isley Finishes Tied For Sixth At Chitengwa Memorial

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – UNCW's Walker Isley fashioned his fifth top-10 finish of the season to lead the Seahawks at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial, hosted by Virginia, at the Birdwood Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Seahawks finished 12th while seventh-ranked Florida State cruised to a 14-stroke victory over host Virginia, who was ranked 21st.

Ben James of Virginia and Cole Anderson of Florida State tied for medalist honors at 11-under.

Isley tied for sixth overall at seven-under. He finished with 12 birdies for the tournament, recording four in each round.

The Seahawks next compete at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships on Apr. 23-25 on Dataw Island, S.C.
