Baseball Preview: #24 NC State

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks host nationally-ranked NC State on Tuesday at 6 p.m. as UNCW continues its daunting midweek non-conference schedule.

The Seahawks (13-7) and NC State (15-5) are slated to play a home and home series with UNCW heading to Doak Field on Apr 11. UNCW halted a nine-game losing skid to the Wolfpack las spring with a 13-11 win at Brooks Field.

UNCW has won nine of its last 10 games, including each of its last four outings.

UNCW's Jac Croom was Player of the Week by the Colonial Athletic Association following am impressive week at the plate, hitting .533, scoring nine runs and knocking in four. Croom is ranked 15th nationally with his .450 batting average.

The Wolfpack is hitting .316 as a team with 41 home runs in 20 games.
