NABC Honors White For Outstanding Season

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – Sophomore guard Trazarien White has earned postseason recognition from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) following an outstanding men's basketball season at UNCW.
 
The 6-6, 190-pound guard from Mansfield, Texas, was named Second-Team All-District 10 after leading the Seahawks in scoring (14.2) and rebounding (5.9) in 2022-23. He recently led 24-10 UNCW to its second consecutive championship game in the CAA Tournament.
 
White was named to the CAA's All-Tournament Team after scoring 51 points (17.0 ppg) and grabbing 25 rebounds (8.3 rpg) in the three games vs. No. 5 Drexel (W 73-68), No. 1 Hofstra (W 79-73) and No. 2 Charleston (L 63-58) at the Washington Sports & Entertainment Arena.
 
In two seasons at UNCW, White has appeared in 66 games and made 57 starts. He started all 34 games in 2022-23, recording double-doubles vs. Missouri State, East Carolina and Drexel (twice).
 
The honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across the NCAA Division I ranks.
