HAMPTON, Va. – On Friday at the Hampton Aqua Plex, UNCW captured both the men's and women's Colonial Athletic Association Swimming & Diving Championship titles for the second time overall and the first since 2006.

For the Seahawk men, it was the program's 15 conference title and its second straight. For the women, it was their fourth and first since that 2006 season.

The finals session began with a UNCW sweep of the 1,650-yard Freestyle with both Brooke Knisley (16:21.86) and Sam O'Brien (15:08.90) defending their championships from last year. For O'Brien, it was a school-record time.

Sophomore Jacob Duracinsky won the 100 Freestyle when he fashioned a school-record time of 43.37 seconds. Duracinsky also won the 200 Free earlier in the meet.

UNCW's final conference championship event win closed out the meet as the Seahawks set a meet and school record when Duracinsky, E'Likai Crompton-English, Henderson Louviere and Kenneth Lowe took home the 400 Free Relay title with a time of 2:52.73.
