WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Seahawks close out their home schedule this weekend with Gardner-Webb beginning on Friday at 4 p.m.

Dylan Fisk has broken and set the program's freshman record in the 1,000 Freestyle twice this season. In his collegiate debut, Fisk posted a time of 9:10.09, which also ranks second in program history. Against NC State, the freshman lowered his time to 9:08.86. The program record of 9:08.27 was set in 2023 by Sam O'Brien.

William Carrico has moved into the top 50 in three events this fall. Carrico is 49th in the 200 Back (1:44.04) and 12th with a time of 3:50.23 in the 400 IM. Earlier in the fall, his time of 1:46.99 against Virginia landed him 46th in the 100 IM.

The men's 200 medley relay has opened the season with three consecutive wins following another victory against NC State. The relay of Ian Frazer, William Carrico, Kris Lawson and Hil Lindsay fashioned the league's top time of 1:27.36 in winning the event. UNCW also tops the CAA in the 200 free relay after recording a winning time of 1:20.85 against Virginia. The Seahawks have yet to compete in either the 400 Free or IM relays.
