White's Double-Doubles Earn Him CAA Player of the Week Honor

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW junior forward Trazarien White averaged a double-double over the course of two games, one against nationally-ranked Kentucky, and was named Coastal Athletic Association Player of the Week on Monday.

White, who was a first-team preseason All-CAA selection, averaged 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds as UNCW went 1-1 on the week in a pair of road games. In the Kentucky win, White scored a career-high 27 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field and added eight free throws made.

For White, who rounded out the UK double-double with 10 rebounds, it was his ninth double-double of the season.
