MBB Preview: Vs. Murray State

Seahawks open the Ft. Myers TipOff with the Racers on Monday

WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNCW opens a three-game week on Monday with the first of two games in the Ft. Myers TipOff at Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

The Seahawks faceoff with the Racers of Murray State on Monday at 1:30 p.m. before battling in-state rival Appalachian State on Tuesday at noon. Links to follow both games are below.

UNCW remained perfect at 3-0 on the young season with a 116-80 blowout of Columbia International last week in Trask Coliseum. The 3-0 mark equals the fast start by the 2016-17 squad.

Trazarien White led the Seahawks with 22 points in that game as six Seahawks scored in double figures for the second time this season.

Murray State (2-1), meanwhile, dropped an 86-81 verdict to Western Kentucky in its last outing. The Races, who recently jumped to the Missouri Valley Conference, own wins over Midway and Tennessee Tech.
