Seahawks Conclude Play at Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, North Carolina – The UNCW women's golf team, along with 17 other schools, concluded play at the Landfall Tradition on Sunday afternoon at the Country Club of Landfall's Pete Dye Course.

Duke (286-286-271=843) won its fifth Landfall Tradition championship by virtue of a tiebreaker (fifth player's third round score) over Clemson (285-286-272=843). Furman's Anna Morgan finished 14-under par in the three-day event to claim individual medalist honors.

UNCW (299-299-290=888) was led by fifth year Mallory Fobes (71-72-72=215), who finished tied for 29th place. The Seahawks closed out their fall calendar in 17th place.

Senior Nicole Adam (71-74-71=216) totaled 16 birdies this weekend, one off Morgan and Illinois' Isabel Sy for the tournament lead.

UNCW is now idle until the spring when it resumes play at the UCF Challenge from Feb. 4-6 in Orlando, Fla.
